Pilot Episode 1: De-coding Diversity
17th January 2019
In this first episode, we speak to Dr Milena Tsvetkova, a computational social scientist and Assistant Professor at the London School of Economics. Milena talks about her research in modelling diversity in society and social interactions online, and the importance of teaching computer science at university.

Milena did not have a conventional route into social sciences. In fact, she started her academic career studying for a degree in Architectural Design at MIT. With her unique perspectives and creative approaches, perhaps it's little surprise that her research is so cross-disciplinary and pioneering. Coincidently, her research overlaps with Researc/hers Code themes - computational research, diversity and recently Wikipedia editing!
